Filing dockets allocates cost codes (or file codes) to a docket. These file codes can then be used for job costing and productivity reporting.
Filing can either be completed on individual dockets or line items.
To file multiple dockets at a time refer to the article, Filing Multiple Dockets (Web UI)
First, click on the filing tab in the docket.
1. File Codes
- Select a File Code
- Select a percentage allocation (If required)
- Click plus to add a second line (the remainder will be entered in the percentage box)
Repeat across as many cost codes as necessary.
2. File by Lines
Select File by Lines, then
- Enter the File code for each line
